Born on May 25, 1935, in Princeton, IL, Jane was the daughter of the late Howard and Madge (Harrington) Brieser. She was a dedicated educator, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northern Illinois University and a Master's in Reading from Western Illinois University. She taught middle school English in the Princeton Elementary School District, where she left a lasting impact on her students and colleagues. Jane was an active and engaged member of her community. She was proud to be a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Bureau County Historical Society, and the Methodist Church of Wyanet.
