Sharon Kay Christiansen Born: November 12, 1945 in Sterling, IL Died: June 8, 2024 in Peoria, IL Sharon Kay Christiansen, 78, of Princeton, IL passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Kay was born on November 12, 1945 in Sterling, IL the daughter of Frank S. and Florence (Gosney) Lampe. She graduated from Malden High School with the class of 1963. Kay married Donnie E. Christiansen on June 8, 1968 at First Lutheran Church in Princeton. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2016. She worked at GTE in Princeton and Kewanee for 35 years prior to her retirement. Kay enjoyed making ceramics, but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter; Jennifer Christiansen of Kewanee; one son, Stephen (Shelly) Christiansen of North Fort Myers, FL; one son-in-law, Mike Johnson of Arnold, MO; three grandchildren, Tyler (Teal) Christiansen, Ryan (Melissa) Christiansen and Tory Christi
