Bub was born on January 9, 1930, in Princeton, IL, to the late Clarence and Margorie (Howard) Genslinger. Bub was raised by his Foster Parents, John and Tina Taylor. Bub graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1948 and married the late Bonnie Grabill on September 16, 1949, who preceded him in death on November 19, 2007. Throughout his life, Bub held various roles including working at Malden Oil, Princeton Tire, and owning his own tire business. He served as the Road Commissioner for Berlin Township and dedicated most of his life to the betterment of his community.
