Malden - Wilma Gaylord, 81, of Malden, IL. beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at St. Anthony hospital in Rockford, IL, surrounded by her daughter and son. Wilma was born on January 22, 1943 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, to Gaylen and Bertha (Holloway) Dickinson. She married John Gaylord June 30th 1968 in Princeton. She was a hairdresser for many years and had a beauty salon at her home in Zearing until she started Harper Wyman where she retired. Her dedication and hard work were admired by colleagues and clients alike. Family was at the center of Wilma's life. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness and generosity. She enjoyed working in her yard, flowers, spending time with her family and of coarse playing with her grand puppies, Gracie Lou, Violet, Willow and Daisy May.
